Your current PC already has enough memory for everything you do, or your motherboard and processor can't take advantage of DDR5-6400. Given today's RAM prices, there's little reason to spend $429 unless you need the upgrade.

• Why we like it: CyberLink's creative tools have consistently reviewed well during our tests, offering an excellent all-rounder entry-point into video and photo editing. They're surprisingly advanced but beginner-friendly, and this is a good way to get the full suite.

Why we recommend it

Director Suite combines three powerful creative tools. PowerDirector 365 handles video production, PhotoDirector 365 covers photo editing and graphic design, and AudioDirector 365 provides tools for audio restoration, recording and mixing.

All three core apps have reviewed well in our tests.

In his 4-star review of PowerDirector, our expert Steve said it "remains one of the best video editing software for beginners, as well as intermediate editors." The unit's 3,584Wh LFP battery and 3,600W AC output provide enough capacity and power for numerous essential household appliances during an outage or trips away from home.

Why we recommend it

Jackery has always impressed us with its units, and the HomePower 3600 Plus combines a substantial 3,584Wh battery with a continuous AC output of 3,600W. That's enough to power a wide range of household appliances.

Its lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery is rated for 6,000 charge cycles, with a service life of up to 10 years. The company also uses heat-resistant ceramic membrane battery cells to improve thermal safety.

The power station weighs 77.2 pounds and features wheels and a telescopic handle, so it's easy to move around your home or take on the road.

The reduction from $1,899 to $1,709 represents a saving of $190 on the HomePower 3600 Plus, around 10% off the regular price. That's a good reduction on a substantial piece of backup power equipment. This isn't the cheapest we've seen it however. It has been $1,619 in the past on Amazon.

You accept that pricing is through the roof and modern deals don't compare with last year's costs. This is a good offer if want more control over your desktop's memory configuration and are comfortable tweaking performance settings. Built-in voltage regulation provide additional control for anyone looking to fine-tune their systems.

• Best for: Professionals and students who regularly charges multiple devices at their desk at the same time and wants to replace different adapters with a single charging point.

• The deal: The Ugreen Nexode 100W GaN Charging Station is just $30 (was $70) at Best Buy.

• Why it matters: You can charge up to four devices simultaneously, and 100W output provides enough power for compatible laptops. Built-in protection covers over-voltage, over-current, short circuits and temperature.

Why we recommend it

The two main USB-C ports can each deliver up to 100W of power, enough to charge compatible laptops as well as phones and tablets. Ugreen says the included 100W USB-C cable can charge a 14-inch MacBook Pro to 50% in just 27 minutes. GaN technology helps keep the charger relatively small, at around 3.4 x 3.3 x 1.2 inches, tiny enough to carry about in a bag when traveling. Price context & historical value

A $40 reduction on a charger that normally costs $69.99 is huge. At $29.99, you're paying less than half the original price. It's also cheaper than the $34.99 Best Buy had it for earlier this month, and I haven't found a lower price for this exact model. It is currently on sale at Amazon, but will set you back $42.99 there. So, Best Buy is offering the best price right now.

You regularly charge a laptop alongside a phone, tablet, headphones or other USB devices at your desk. The 100W maximum output means it can handle compatible laptops rather than being limited to smaller devices.

You only need to charge one or two low-power devices at a time. You should also remember that 100W is the charger's total available output, so connecting several devices means that power has to be distributed between them rather than every port delivering 100W simultaneously.

• The deal: The HP OmniDesk is $1,398 (was $1,499) at Best Buy, saving you a solid $101, or around 7%, off the usual price.

• Why it matters: It looks good and inside you get a 20-core Intel Core Ultra 7 265 processor, 32GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD with support for up to 64GB of RAM and two M.2 slots for future storage expansion.

Why we recommend it

The OmniDesk looks distinctive and classy with its dark wood finish, but it's definitely not a case of style over substance. Inside, the 20-core Intel Core Ultra 7 265 can boost up to 5.3GHz and has 30MB of L3 cache, providing plenty of processing power for demanding workloads. There's 32GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. You also get 10 USB ports split between eight USB-A and two USB-C connections, as well as HDMI, DisplayPort, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth.

Price context & historical value

The $101 reduction from $1,499 to $1,398 isn't enormous at around 7%, but it's still a decent saving on a relatively expensive desktop. It isn't the cheapest we've seen it however. The desktop was on sale at Best Buy for $930 earlier in the year.

We haven't reviewed this exact Cyborg A15 configuration, but in his four-star review of the closely related Intel-powered Cyborg 15, our expert Lewis said he was "pleasantly surprised by the elegance of its design, at least when compared to others in this sector. It’s not too thick or too bulky across any of its dimensions, although its weight hampers portability somewhat."

This deal gives you a straightforward $250 off. $1,249 appears to be the lowest regular advertised US price I can currently find for this exact specification, so it's a very welcome deal.

TP-Link rates the three-pack for up to 6,600 sq. ft. of coverage and more than 150 connected devices. The dual-band system delivers theoretical wireless speeds of up to 4,324Mbps over 5GHz and 688Mbps over 2.4GHz.

It also supports MLO (Multi-Link Operation), one of Wi-Fi 7's key technologies, which allows compatible devices to use multiple wireless links simultaneously for faster, more reliable connections.

The reduction from $299.99 to $208.73 knocks $91.26 off the regular price, equivalent to a saving of just over 30%. That's not the cheapest I've seen it though. It was on sale at Amazon for $175.93 as recently as a couple of months ago, and could well fall in price again when Black Friday arrives.

The saving from $580 to $579.99 is obviously minuscule on its own, but promo code SSF73634 brings the price down to $559.99. It's not a huge discount, but with storage prices so high right now, any reduction is welcome.

That said, this is nowhere near its historical low. The 4TB WD_BLACK SN7100 was available to buy for $209.99 in 2025, illustrating just how dramatically SSD prices have risen since then. Not so long ago, it was priced at $1,379.99 at Amazon, where it is currently $579.

We've had good experiences testing out previous Asus portable monitors in the ZenScreen line, but this is one of the more practical models. This ZenScreen is light enough to carry alongside a laptop. There's a tripod socket on the back if you don't want to use the included foldable sleeve. Inkjet printers are cheap to buy, but replacement cartridges can quickly make them expensive to own, which is why I bought the Epson EcoTank ET-2861 ink tank printer. I've been really pleased with it, and Amazon has now cut the price significantly.

• Best for: Anyone who prints regularly at home and wants to avoid expensive replacement cartridges. It’s also a good choice for families, homework and everyday colour printing.

• The deal: The Epson EcoTank ET-2861 is £180 (was £240) at Amazon.

• Why it matters: You get refillable ink tanks with up to three years of ink included, plus printing, scanning and copying. There’s also Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, a 100-sheet paper tray and borderless photo printing.

Why we recommend it

I found the ET-2861 easy to set up and use, and what I particularly like is not having to think about buying cartridges. Instead, you refill its large tanks using bottles, with a front display making it easy to see how much ink remains.

Cartridges for my old HP printer cost £167.50 each — although they were cheaper on eBay — so a single cartridge costs just £12.49 less than this entire printer with ink included. Epson says one set of bottles can produce up to 4,500 black-and-white pages or 7,500 colour pages.

Amazon has reduced the Epson EcoTank ET-2861 from £239.99 to £179.99, saving you £60 or 25% off the listed price. It has been cheaper in the past though. I picked it up for £129.99 a few months ago and it could be reduced in price for Black Friday and/or Prime Day. While the initial cost is higher than many conventional cartridge printers, Epson claims its refillable tank system can reduce printing costs by up to 95%.

The American equivalent model, the Epson EcoTank ET-2800, usually sells for $239.99 and is on sale for $199.99 at Amazon right now.
