NYT Connections hints and answers for Friday, June 26 (game #1111)

Looking for a different day?

A new NYT Connections puzzle appears at midnight each day for your time zone – which means that some people are always playing 'today's game' while others are playing 'yesterday's'. If you're looking for Thursday's puzzle instead then click here: NYT Connections hints and answers for Thursday, June 25 (game #1110).

Good morning! Let's play Connections, the NYT's clever word game that challenges you to group answers in various categories. It can be tough, so read on if you need Connections hints.

What should you do once you've finished? Why, play some more word games of course. I've also got daily Strands hints and answers and Quordle hints and answers articles if you need help for those too, while Marc's Wordle today page covers the original viral word game.

SPOILER WARNING: Information about NYT Connections today is below, so don't read on if you don't want to know the answers.

NYT Connections today (game #1111) - today's words

Today's NYT Connections words are…

  • TANG
  • CHIP
  • BOARD
  • PINKY
  • DALE
  • REDO
  • SPLINTER
  • NUT
  • HOLLOW
  • TREE
  • GORGE
  • BRONZER
  • CRACKER
  • DELL
  • LOG
  • PRETZEL

NYT Connections today (game #1111) - hint #1 - group hints

What are some clues for today's NYT Connections groups?

  • YELLOW: Food with mouth appeal
  • GREEN: Timber
  • BLUE: Earthy
  • PURPLE: Added shade

Need more clues?

We're firmly in spoiler territory now, but read on if you want to know what the four theme answers are for today's NYT Connections puzzles…

NYT Connections today (game #1111) - hint #2 - group answers

What are the answers for today's NYT Connections groups?

  • YELLOW: CRUNCHY SNACK ITEM
  • GREEN: VARIOUS AMOUNTS OF WOOD
  • BLUE: AREAS OF LOW GROUND
  • PURPLE: COLORS PLUS A LETTER

Right, the answers are below, so DO NOT SCROLL ANY FURTHER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE THEM.

NYT Connections today (game #1111) - the answers

NYT Connections answers for game 1111 on a purple background

The answers to today's Connections, game #1111, are…

  • YELLOW: CRUNCHY SNACK ITEM CHIP, CRACKER, NUT, PRETZEL
  • GREEN: VARIOUS AMOUNTS OF WOOD BOARD, LOG, SPLINTER, TREE
  • BLUE: AREAS OF LOW GROUND DALE, DELL, GORGE, HOLLOW
  • PURPLE: COLORS PLUS A LETTER BRONZER, PINKY, REDO, TANG
  • My rating: Easy
  • My score: Perfect

I was proud of myself on two counts today. Firstly, in managing to get a purple first and secondly, in managing to resist submitting the four CRUNCHY SNACK ITEMs ahead of the more risky collection of COLORS PLUS A LETTER.

Although I was confident of a connection between REDO and PINKY, BRONZER and TANG felt like a risk — but the gamble paid off.

With eight tiles left, the remainder were easy to split apart and I went with four tiles which I thought described parts of a woodland, rather than AREAS OF LOW GROUND.

Yesterday's NYT Connections answers (Thursday, June 25, game #1110)

  • YELLOW: COMPUTER PERIPHERALS MICROPHONE, MONITOR, PRINTER, TRACKPAD
  • GREEN: TIGHTLY PACKED COMPACT, COMPRESSED, DENSE, SQUASHED
  • BLUE: HAZARDOUS ELEMENTAL METALS FRANCIUM, LEAD, MERCURY, POLONIUM
  • PURPLE: STARTING WITH BIRD HOMOPHONES CRANIUM, CROQUETTE, DUCTILE, HOCKEY

What is NYT Connections?

NYT Connections is one of several increasingly popular word games made by the New York Times. It challenges you to find groups of four items that share something in common, and each group has a different difficulty level: green is easy, yellow a little harder, blue often quite tough and purple usually very difficult.

On the plus side, you don't technically need to solve the final one, as you'll be able to answer that one by a process of elimination. What's more, you can make up to four mistakes, which gives you a little bit of breathing room.

It's a little more involved than something like Wordle, however, and there are plenty of opportunities for the game to trip you up with tricks. For instance, watch out for homophones and other word games that could disguise the answers.

It's playable for free via the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.

Want to finally add Catan to your board game collection? These are the versions and expansions I recommend

Catan is a board game icon for a reason. It takes everything you love about childhood classics and serves them with gameplay that's much more satisfying, properly blending luck and skill. But which version should you play?

With Amazon Prime Day US deals serving up so many different versions of Catan it can feel impossible to choose one, thankfully for you I’ve played them all and I know the answer.

The base game is at a phenomenally good asking price of $29.99 — saving you 45% at Amazon if you’re a Prime member — but there are plenty of alternatives and expansions to consider sticking in your basket too.

Of course, the classic base game is the best starting point, especially with the Prime Day deal Amazon has going on right now. The only issue is that the game can have an awkward number of players at exactly three or four, which is why the five-to-six player expansion is an excellent pickup if, like me, you find your game nights are rarely small enough for the base limit.

Alternatively my partner I have loved the two-player Rivals game as it provides a lot of the same strategic rivalry without needing a group over to get a game in.

If you’ve opted for the classic original, you also have the option to enhance it with one of three expansions (which can be expanded further with components for five or six-player games). My favorite is Cities & Knights as it takes core elements in the base game and makes them a little more complex — such as expanding the role of cities, and giving your army of knights an enemy to oppose — without altering the game so much that it feels inaccessible. Explorers & Pirates alters the game board to include islands to be explored (and harvested), as well as pirates to contend with; much like Cities & Knights, it expands the core elements of the base game without making it feel unfamiliar.

Traders & Barbarians includes several smaller changes in one larger package. There are new two-player rules, you can replace dice rolls with event cards, there are new trading mechanics, and the addition of fishing — a mechanic all games need in my opinion.

Lastly, I’ve included three entirely different standalone versions of Catan. New Energies will feel very familiar except there’s now an energy mechanic, with consequences to contend with as you pollute the world (and benefits to be gained by investing in renewables). Dawn of Humankind introduces a much larger map (essentially the whole globe) and encourages true exploration and travel supported by the game’s familiar resource gathering. Meanwhile, On the Road turns the classic into a portable card game with streamlined rules that make it excellent for playing while traveling.

Dawn of Humankind is pricier than we’ve seen in the past, unfortunately, but I love these Catan alternatives so much that I can’t include them.

These are the Nintendo Switch 2 games I've spent my hundreds of hours with the console playing so far

I've been using the Nintendo Switch 2 since its launch week, playing practically every title released for the platform either as part of my work covering games here at TechRadar Gaming or my own personal enjoyment.

I've spent hours in everything from big new entries in first-party franchises like Mario Tennis Fever and Mario Kart World to groundbreaking ports such as Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition. I'm not just playing the big hitters either, and have invested loads of time in getting to grips with underrated gems including Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess and Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army.

I recently got into mobile gaming — here's what's in my setup right now that makes it even more enjoyable

The arrival of The Division: Resurgence earlier this year — a game in one of my favorite series — pulled me into mobile gaming hard.

I soon began building the perfect mobile gaming setup to meet my needs, but also to make sure I enhanced and made my small-screen experience as optimal and as enjoyable as possible. That's where the kit below came in, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Adding dedicated gaming gear, where appropriate, has made the world of difference and augmented my gaming on mobile. This all starts with a dedicated, powerful phone; I was lucky enough to find an ASUS Rog Phone 8 Pro in one of the TechRadar cupboards which is perfect, but you can't buy it now — so I've included the most recent version of that phone below instead.

Otherwise it's all there, just as I use it. While the DualSense and mobile phone controller are good in some scenarios, I love the fact that I finally found a mobile controller for my different hands in the form of the Nacon MG-X Pro. Audio-wise, I was fortunate enough to have some high-profile SteelSeries gear to hand, and that's stayed with my setup due to the excellent connectivity and portability the buds and headset offer.

Having tested gaming gear, and spent hours whittling my mobile gaming gear down to the stuff below, you might find that some of it is exactly what you're looking for too.

'No collector's edition?': as GTA 6 pre-orders go live, Rockstar could face scrutiny if it pulls the same move as it did with Red Dead Redemption 2

The day we've been waiting years for has finally arrived. Rockstar Games has finally given word on GTA 6 pre-orders (spoiler: they're happening now), as well as pricing information and a torrent of new screenshots, but fans have highlighted a notable omission.

We were asked in a comment on our TikTok announcing the news whether or not we knew of a collector's edition in the works — and we don't, with Rockstar staying quiet on the matter — but there's at least some reason to believe that we won't see one that includes a physical copy.

That reason is an entirely different game; Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2), the last game developed by Rockstar. Instead of a collector's edition including a physical copy, fans received a collector's box priced at $99.99 / £89.99 with "outlaw essentials" inspired by the Van der Linde gang.

These included various themed items like a metal tithing box, a bandana, pins, and more, all neat, but notably, there was no digital content included. Bundles were available that included a hard copy, but officially speaking, these were distinct and separate products. It was met with mixed feelings; some fans liked the focus on real-world collectibles rather than in-game content, but others at least wanted a unique game box to

Grand Theft Auto 6 weapons.

So, will we see a collector's box for GTA 6?

Well, reader, I've got no clue. It's been a long eight years since RDR2, an even longer 12 years since GTA 5, and it's a whole different ball/car theft game in 2025. In our pre-order live blog, our Managing Editor, Gaming and Streaming, speculates:

Could it be that Rockstar only wants to launch digitally initially in order to avoid any risks about leaks or something, but then come again later with a special edition or collector's edition that's 'properly' physical — I could see that happening. People would buy it twice, too.I think we're about to witness a game pre-order situation that is like no other, ever; it'll transcend any other game pre-order logic, pattern, or situation, so the idea of Rockstar coming later with a collector's edition or physical copy to coincide with a later beat, such as GTA 6 Online, or a PC release, is very much something I can see.

Rob Dwiar — Managing Editor, Gaming and Streaming

Indeed, GTA 6 already stands to shape the market. Its pricing alone has been a huge point of interest, with analysts putting early predictions at over $100; it's safe to say that would have been the real kicker here, even if a collector's edition would be appreciated by many fans.

Who knows, perhaps Rockstar is going all-in on the digital future and scrapping all physical media, including merchandise. I mean, I'd be surprised, but it's not beyond the realms of imagination that we'd see fewer publishers making their own merch and offloading the effort onto third-party providers.

Still, I sincerely hope that's not the case; whether it's a collector's edition with a physical disc, a game code, or just a box filled with junk I can shove on a shelf to proudly show in the background of my Zoom calls, there's plenty of demand for collector's items.

GTA 6 UK pre-orders are live, and we finally have a price — here's where you can order it, and what it costs

If you've been following our GTA 6 pre-order live updates, you'll know that pre-orders now finally live in the UK for the new game.

Not only can you get your order in, including for the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition with all of its extras over the standard edition, but this has also finally revealed to us what the UK price actually is — Rockstar only revealed the US prices when it announced the pre-order time.

So now we know that GTA 6 will cost £69.99 for the Standard Edition, and £89.99 for the Ultimate Edition — we're in a brave new world of video game prices here, folks.

And don't forget, if you buy the 'physical' version of it, you're not getting a disc in the box. It's just for show on your shelf.

We're updating this page as different retailers start showing their pre-order pages — here's a quick list of search page links for now, but we'll put solid links in as they appear.

  • My rating: Easy
  • My score: Perfect

Of all the many COMPUTER PERIPHERALS that money can buy there is one that causes more stress and annoyance that anything else.

I speak of course of the PRINTER: a device that in my experience of going through the major brands will chose to not work when you need it most, run out of its ludicrously expensive ink at an alarming rate and develop faults that will take days to fix.

Anyway, I digress — today’s groups were all very gettable, although STARTING WITH BIRD HOMOPHONES eluded me, probably because my CRANIUM malfunctioned due to triggering the aforementioned printer frustrations.

Yesterday's NYT Connections answers (Wednesday, June 24, game #1109)

Get ready for Warhammer 40,000 11th Edition with these Prime Day Warhammer deals on paints, brushes, models & more

Warhammer 11th Edition has arrived with the Armageddon launch box, and although a new edition seems like the perfect way into the hobby, it's a daunting prospect. What do you need to build your models? What do you need to play the game? I've tried to make it easy for you by scouring Amazon for some Prime Day deals to get started.

View the full Amazon Prime Day sale

I've found deals on paints, brushes, Citadel plastic glue, gaming accessories and some models to complement the main starter set, whether you pick the bestial orks or the dogmatic Space Marines.

Obviously the Armageddon 11th Edition launch box set including 23 Space marines, 38 orks & rulebooks is the big-ticket item with $50 off, but I'd also recommend the Infernus Marines & Paints Set, which comes with starter paints and a paintbrush. It's good value although there's no discount: it's a gentler introduction to the build and paint side of things, and easier on your wallet, too. I've also recommended cheaper, well-known brands like Army Painter to save you money.

I've reviewed gaming headsets for nearly a decade, and these are a bunch of the ones I'd recommend right now

I've been reviewing gaming headsets for nearly a decade now, and have seen a lot of them come and go. While a lot of my favorites are long gone now, there's a great big handful of my top picks that you can still get in 2026 — and I've got 15 of my best below that are definitely worth your money, no matter your budget or platform.

Yes, a few of these are premium offerings which do you require a bit of investment — the Audeze Maxwell 2 is the best for pure sound quality, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Elite offers the complete gaming headset experience — but I also love a few cheaper options which are enormously good value for money, which I also still use in particular scenarios, such as the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 1 or Razer Kaira X.

View the full gaming headset offerings at Amazon right now

Regardless of whether these are among the Amazon Prime Day deals officially or not, you might find discounts on them — the prices of these bits of gear fluctuate wildly at the best of times — and even if you don't, I think they're absolutely worth investing in if you're in need of a set of audio-givers.

NYT Connections hints and answers for Wednesday, June 24 (game #1109)

Looking for a different day?

A new NYT Connections puzzle appears at midnight each day for your time zone – which means that some people are always playing 'today's game' while others are playing 'yesterday's'. If you're looking for Tuesday's puzzle instead then click here: NYT Connections hints and answers for Tuesday, June 23 (game #1108).

NYT Connections today (game #1109) - today's words

Today's NYT Connections words are…

  • HUMPTY DUMPTY
  • TOASTER
  • PINK FLOYD
  • MONEY
  • KOOL-AID MAN
  • HELTER SKELTER
  • CHINA
  • RUSH
  • CHICK FLICK
  • DEADPOOL
  • LUGGAGE
  • GENESIS
  • CLIFFORD
  • MUMBO
  • JUMBO
  • KING CRIMSON
  • MR. KRABS

NYT Connections today (game #1109) - hint #1 - group hints

What are some clues for today's NYT Connections groups?

  • YELLOW: Adult groups of the 1970s
  • BLUE: They share a color in common
  • GREEN: Nuptial presents
  • PURPLE: Sounds similar

Need more clues?

We're firmly in spoiler territory now, but read on if you want to know what the four theme answers are for today's NYT Connections puzzles…

NYT Connections today (game #1109) - hint #2 - group answers

What are the answers for today's NYT Connections groups?

  • YELLOW: PROG BANDS
  • BLUE: RED CHARACTERS
  • GREEN: CLASSIC WEDDING GIFTS
  • PURPLE: RHYMING COMPOUND WORDS

Right, the answers are below, so DO NOT SCROLL ANY FURTHER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE THEM.

NYT Connections today (game #1109) - the answers

The answers to today's Connections, game #1109, are…

  • YELLOW: PROG BANDS GENESIS, KING CRIMSON, PINK FLOYD, RUSH
  • BLUE: RED CHARACTERS CLIFFORD, DEADPOOL, KOOL-AID MAN, MR. KRABS
  • GREEN: CLASSIC WEDDING GIFTS CHINA, LUGGAGE, MONEY, TOASTER
  • PURPLE: RHYMING COMPOUND WORDS CHICK FLICK, HELTER SKELTER, HUMPTY DUMPTY, MUMBO JUMBO
  • My rating: Hard
  • My score: 1 mistake

Not being familiar with the work of KOOL-AID MAN put me at a disadvantage today and was the reason for my single mistake.

While I knew that CLIFFORD of Big Red Dog fame, DEADPOOL and MR. KRABS favored the color red. I was less certain about the fourth, so selected HUMPTY DUMPTY in the belief that he favored a thick red belt across his eggy mid-riff. Fortunately, I corrected my error at the next opportunity.

I am kicking myself that I didn’t see the RHYMING COMPOUND WORDS — I did fleetingly think that they could all be album titles by the yellow group of PROG BANDS but went for the CLASSIC WEDDING GIFTS instead.

Yesterday's NYT Connections answers (Tuesday, June 23, game #1108)

  • YELLOW: DANCE STYLES FOXTROT, MODERN, SWING, TAP
  • GREEN: IN A MONOPOLY BOX DEED, HOTEL, MONEY, TOKEN
  • BLUE: CONTENT SORTING OPTIONS ONLINE FEATURED, POPULAR, RECENT, TRENDING
  • PURPLE: THINGS WITH MANTLES/ MANTELS EARTH, EMPEROR, FIREPLACE, YANKEES

This may be the only way to beat potentially high GTA 6 prices once pre-orders are live on Thursday

In case you missed it, Rockstar Games has finally announced that GTA 6 pre-orders will go live on Thursday, 25th June, which has opened the floodgates of excitement and relief, as the feared potential delays have now been put to bed.

However, there's one major factor that we'll have to wait to find out on the very day, and that's how much GTA 6 will cost for PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. Rumors based on recent Portuguese retailer listings suggest we could see a potential £80 / $100 price tag for the standard edition, but there's still no confirmation.

At the very least, we can predict that Rockstar's blockbuster title will hit the £70 region. Regardless, there's bound to be an influx of console users looking for the best way to save on gaming's biggest event in 2026 — and if you're a PS5 user, you're in luck.

PlayStation gift cards in front of GTA 6 background

The £70 PlayStation Store gift card gives users access to a choice of one among a huge catalog of PlayStation's first-party exclusives and other third-party games, and serves as a bargain leading into GTA 6's pre-order day.View Deal

Fortunately, the £70 PlayStation Store gift card is available on ShopTo for £60.85 (was £70), thanks to a significant 13% discount. Effectively, you'll be paying the previous standard £59.99 price model for £70 games — and in this case, you'll save a significant amount on GTA 6.

If Rockstar matches Nintendo's £79.99 price standard, the £10 PlayStation Store gift card, available for £9.85 (was £10), will come in handy for buyers. Luckily, all gift cards are discounted at ShopTo, and better yet, ShopTo users with 'Gold' or 'Silver' memberships can get further discounts at checkout.

It's worth taking a gamble now with securing the wallet funds, as discounted gift cards at multiple retailers like ShopTo are likely going to skyrocket in demand, so now may be the last chance to secure your GTA 6 purchase at the lowest possible price.

This Prime Day might be your last chance to secure a discounted PS5 before GTA 6 pre-orders begin

If you were looking to get your hands on a PlayStation 5 ahead of the Grand Theft Auto 6 pre-order date this week, then this Amazon Prime Day deal is for you. Right now you can grab the console at a 16% discount over at Amazon, which takes its price down to just £479 (was £569.99).

Browse the full Amazon Prime Day sale

It's not the cheapest PS5 we've ever seen, but with the recent price rises it's likely going to the lowest it's available for some time. This is the Slim 1TB version of the console as well, with a disc reader fitted so you can buy the physical version of GTA 6 to keep on your shelf.

The deal is only on for a limited time, and stock is already flying off the shelves - with just under half of the available units sold already. This is a deal I'd recommend snapping up quick!

Today's best PS5 deal

A chunky discount on the PS5 Slim here, with 1TB storage and the disc reader attachment included out of the box. With recent price hikes, this is likely the cheapest the console will be ahead of GTA 6 pre-orders.View Deal

NYT Connections today (game #1108) - hint #2 - group answers

What are the answers for today's NYT Connections groups?

  • BLUE: CONTENT SORTING OPTIONS ONLINE
  • PURPLE: THINGS WITH MANTLES/ MANTELS

  • BLUE: CONTENT SORTING OPTIONS ONLINE FEATURED, POPULAR, RECENT, TRENDING
  • PURPLE: THINGS WITH MANTLES/ MANTELS EARTH, EMPEROR, FIREPLACE, YANKEES
  • My rating: Hard
  • My score: Perfect

The phonetic alphabet featuring HOTEL, FOXTROT and crucially Yankee — not YANKEES — was today’s trap/joke and were it not for the easy to spot DANCE STYLES I may well have fallen for it.

Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is also the name of a great album by Wilco, but I digress…

I got the blue group next, thinking that all four words described seemed like labels you’d put on a report rather than CONTENT SORTING OPTIONS ONLINE, which considering I do quite a lot of Content Sorting I really should have seen.

The final group I found was IN A MONOPOLY BOX, although I can’t say I have ever thought of the street name cards as being a DEED.

Yesterday's NYT Connections answers (Monday, June 22, game #1107)

  • YELLOW: DOMINANT ALPHA, HEAD, LEAD, PRIMARY
  • GREEN: MULTIPLICATION INDICATORS BY, TIMES, X, •
  • BLUE: PRONUNCIATION DESCRIPTORS SHORT, SILENT, SOFT, STRESSED
  • PURPLE: STARTING WITH EXPLOSIVE ONOMATOPOEIA BANGKOK, BOOMER, POPSICLE, POWDER

My ergonomic office chair's recline function failed and almost took me out — so that's why I'm eyeing these 3 gaming chairs as my next move

It's been a long three years since I last found myself in the market for a new office or gaming chair. Since gambling on the Noblewell NWOC6 ergonomic office chair, I've had few to no issues with its comfort or functionality, especially with its mesh design aiding breathability during hot summer days.

That all came crashing down recently when attempting a normal recline, with the mechanism failing and nearly sending me and my desk into the abyss. Now, the chair no longer locks in recline at the initial or, in other words, 'standard' level.

It's hard to pinpoint whether the failure is a simple case of wear and tear due to long-term use, or if I had put way too much pressure on the tilt and recline mechanism — but it seems there's no going back now.

Essentially, all desktop activities, which include working, gaming, or watching movies, are so much more difficult, as there's practically no resistance from the NWOC6 to keep me locked in position.

That's exactly why these three options, some of which are in our rankings of the most comfortable gaming chairs, have been on my radar for days. With Prime Day here, I'm primed to buy.

1. Razer Iskur V2 X

The Razer Iskur V2 X next to the Razer Iskur V2 in an office setting.

The Razer Iskur V2 X is one of the most affordable and comfy gaming chairs any gamer (or casual desktop user) could opt for, with a fairly simple but comfortable design that seemingly prioritizes lumbar support with the additional memory foam lumbar cushion.

Fortunately, the Razer Iskur V2 X is available on Amazon for $269.99 (was $299.99), thanks to a reasonable 10% discount.

While this is a step away from my preferred mesh material design, which makes gaming and PC usage easier on hotter days, it's still worth a shot considering its push for comfort — and hopefully, this one doesn't try to end me.

The Razer Iskur V2 X is easily one of the best options for any gamer or desktop user looking for comfort in long sessions. With built-in lumbar support alongside a memory foam lumbar cushion, this is a chair with a simple design that gets the job done.View Deal

2. Secretlab Titan Evo 2022

Secretlab Titan Evo in a spacious home office

The Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 is my dream gaming chair upgrade. Again, it's not using a mesh design, but the SoftWeave Plus Fabric promises a breathable design that will help keep gamers cool in the summer.

There's currently no sale available for the Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 on Amazon, but it's best to keep your eyes peeled for any discounts with Prime Day underway — and discounts are certainly needed for this one, since it's quite expensive at $579 / £414 / AU$724.

However, it's ranked among our best office chairs, best gaming chairs, and the most comfortable chairs, and that's no surprise considering its fantastic top-of-the-line build quality and features, so it's one I'll be looking to buy.

The Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 gaming chair is right up among the top-of-the-line gaming chairs, with several high-quality features within its design that suit gamers and desktop users almost perfectly.

3. ThundrX3 Flex Pro

Lifestyle image of ThunderX3 Flex Pro gaming chair

Perhaps the strongest contender in the list is the ThunderX3 Flex Pro, an ergonomic office chair, also designed for gamers, but with a mesh design, making it a fantastic option for summer comfort.

It's another chair that is frustratingly not on sale just yet, but Prime Day can throw surprises with heavy discounts when least expected, so keeping tabs open for this one is the right move.

The Flex Pro features fully retractable armrests, 5D flip-up support (providing support for handheld gaming), and adjustable height and seat depth. It's effectively the ideal option for a user who may need to adjust almost every part of the chair to their liking, and I'm hoping it's one I can land this Prime Day.

With the ThunderX3 Flex Pro, customization is your best friend, as it features plenty of adjustable components. It has retractable armrests and an adjustable backrest height and seat depth, making it ideal for those looking to try several seating setups.View Deal

I can't use asymmetrical gaming controllers — here's what I'd recommend instead, along with some other favorites

I couldn't properly use an Xbox console until one particular controller came out this generation, and ever since I've held a special place for it in my gaming heart.

Even as a gaming hardware reviewer for years, prior to the Thrustmaster eSwap X Pro controller that released a little after the Series X and S launched, I really struggled with any Xbox controller due to having slightly different hands. A controller that could be turned into the layout I need, symmetrical, was a revolution. You can't get that original one anymore, but the eSwap X2 and eSwap X2 H.E. variants are excellent new iterations.

Since then, I've had hands-on with a whole load of other controllers that are absolutely brilliant for a multitude of reasons.

From ol' reliables like the standard DualSense, to another modular belter in the Victrix Pro BFG range, and from premium first-party pads like the excellent DualSense Edge, to Pro-focused controllers like the SCUF Omega there's more choice than ever — and I've rounded up some of my absolute favorites below for your perusal ahead of the Amazon Prime Day deals this week.
